April is Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month! |
|
During the month of April, the Greater Birmingham Humane Society would like to remind the community of the importance of child and animal abuse prevention. To accomplish this, the GBHS is joining with DHR Child Welfare Services to offer a two-hour seminar to raise awareness of both child and animal abuse in our community. This seminar is designed to teach concerned community members how to better recognize and report suspected incidents to the appropriate authorities.
This two-hour seminar will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2009, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the GBHS. Learn more about this special seminar and register on-line today!
