GBHS Featured Pets: Talladega Puppy Mill Dogs Now Available for Adoption |
On August 30th the GBHS relieved the Talladega Animal Control of 34 dogs from a recent puppy mill bust. Many of the "puppy mill" dogs have found their forever homes. However, a few special ones are still seeking loving families to call their own.
The adoption fee is $150 and they have all received needed vet care including: teeth cleaning, spay/neuter, vaccinations, heartworm checks, and deworming.

September is Disaster Preparedness Month |
Never knowing when disaster may strike, the Greater Birmingham Humane Society encourages you to be prepared.
Would your family be prepared if a disaster struck? Do you have a disaster kit prepared? Do you have an evacuation plan or alternative lodging pre-planned? If you answered "No" to any of these, it is time to get READY! |
The Pups are Barking for Bucks! |

Will you please help the homeless pets at the GBHS by giving a minimum of $5 on-line, or sending $1 (or more) to the Greater Birmingham Humane Society? Our homeless pets are "BARKING" for your help! Can they count on you? |
