Meow, my name is Lionel! Garfield's got nothing on me in the looks department! I'm a handsome, two-year-old orange tabby. Wanna hear me purr just for you? Please adopt me today!

How old is your cat?

When you must move, the GBHS encourages you to seek arrangements that will permit you to keep your pets. Some things that will help include planning ahead and allowing plenty of time to research your options.

There are websites on the internet that have been designed to assist pet owners. Two sites are: www.rentwithpets.com, and www.wonderpuppy.net.

If you are making a long-term move and open to buying a home, ask your realtor about low-cost home ownership programs.

If you must rent, prove to your new landlord that you are a responsible pet owner and trustworthy renter. Provide a written reference from your current landlord. Talk to the new landlord in person. Have current vet records to prove your pet is vaccinated and has been given flea & parasite control.
