Sue

Hi, my name is Sue. If you're looking for laid-back and easy to please, then I'm your girl! I definitely like to play and be silly, but more often than not, you'll catch me chilling out in a comfy bed. I can be a bit shy when I meet new people, but I'll warm up to you quickly once I feel comfortable. Can we be best friends forever? Please adopt me today!

The Greater Birmingham Humane Society Foster Care Program places special case domestic animals into temporary homes until they are suitable for adoption or are ready to return to their family. Fostering is a good way to provide special case animals needed stability. Some of our foster pets simply need temporary stability due to uncontrollable circumstances in their family. Others need second chance at finding a loving home.

The GBHS Foster Care Program can also be used as a safe haven for those who find themselves in a domestic violence situation or hospitalized for an extended period of time. Each case involving these criteria will be evaluated on an individual basis to determine eligibility.

Foster parent candidates must complete an application and be interviewed by the Foster Care Coordinator. Applicants will be thoroughly screened and required to attend the Foster Care Training Program.

There is a pet in need waiting for you today! To learn how you can help, contact our Foster Care Coordinator at fostercare@gbhs.org.
